The SCADA Data Gateway is basically a windows based application. It can collect data from OPC Server, IEC 60870-6 (TASE.2/ICCP), IEC 61850 Server, IEC 60870-5, DNP3, or Modbus Slave devices and supplies it to the device which support OPC Client, IEC 60870-6 (TASE.2/ICCP) Client, IEC 60870-5, DNP3, and/or Modbus communication protocols.

 

  • Translate to other protocols such as SNMP by combining the SDG with another OPC Client/Server
  • It communicate through standard Serial port or Ethernet port on a PC which supports Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2, Windows 2008 Server, Windows 2003 Server, or Windows XP Embedded. Both 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows.
  • Typical Windows-based programs compatible with the SDG include: Iconics GENESIS64™/GENESIS32™, GE Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX™ and CIMPLICITY™, Wonderware® InTouch HMI, Siemens SIMATIC WinCC, Microsoft® Visual Basic™, or any other program which is capable of acting as an OPC Client/Server.
